Privacy Policy

What dilmusic collects and what it does not: no accounts, cookieless analytics, and tuners that use your microphone only inside the page, never recorded.

The short version

This site is a set of static files. There is no account system, no login, no comment form, and no database. We do not ask you for personal information, and there is nothing on the site that would let you give us any.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see which pages are read. It is cookieless and does not fingerprint visitors or track them across sites. It reports aggregate figures — page views, referrers, broad country-level location — and nothing that identifies you individually. Because it sets no cookies, this site shows no cookie banner.

Sound and the microphone

The play buttons make their sound in your browser: nothing is downloaded or sent when you press one.

The violin and ukulele tuners ask your browser for the microphone, and only when you press Start. The sound is measured inside the page to find its pitch and then discarded. Nothing is recorded, stored or sent to us or anyone else. The microphone turns off when you press Stop or leave the page, and you can withdraw permission at any time in your browser’s site settings.

Server logs

The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes request data (including IP addresses) to deliver pages and protect against abuse. That processing is covered by Cloudflare’s own privacy documentation.

Third parties

We do not sell data, because we do not collect any to sell. Pages that embed third-party content say so on the page itself.

Your rights

If you are in a jurisdiction granting rights over personal data, those rights apply to any data we hold. In practice we hold none. Write to contact@dilmusic.com with any question about this.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated date on this page changes with it.
